Cinematographer - director K v Anand's Ko starring Jiiva, Ajmal and Karthika in the lead role is all set for release later this month. Buzz is that the movie is getting ready for a release in Telugu now.
Since Jiiva has a good fan-following in Andhra Pradesh and that it has music by Harris Jeyaraj, Anand has chosen to release the movie in telugu too. Interestingly the Telugu version is titled Rangam.
The movie talks about a photo journalist and his fight against corrupt men in the society. Anand started his carrer as a photo journalist. He says, ' there are few events the movie that is inspired from my real life. Jiiva has fit the bill well. He has played his part exceedingly well. So are Ajmal and Karthika'.
On his part Ajmal said, 'I am very happy to work with K V Anand, while Piaa Bajpai thanked the producers and director for giving her this wonderful oppurtunity.
The movie has story by Suba. There is enough thrilling moment to ensure that audience will get hooked on to the movie, he adds.
Interestingly the Telugu version is released by Super Good Films.
