Rajni's open talk

Super Star Rajnikanth was the cynosure of all eyes as he came to cast his vote on Wednesday at Stella Maris College in Chennai to cast his vote for the Assembly elections in Tamilnadu. He was mobbed by mediamen, who thronged the polling booth in large numbers.

Rajnikanth was almost pushed to the wall and he had to hurriedly leave the place after casting his vote. Meanwhile talking to a television channel, Rajnikanth said, ' whichever party comes to power in Tamilnadu, they should strive to bring down the spiralling price rise of essential commodities.'

Stating that people in rural areas were worst-affected due to price rise, Rajnikanth said the priority is to tackle this at the earliest.

Queried about social worker Anna Hazare's fast against corruption in Mumbai recently, Rajnikanth said, 'I wish my whole hearted support to him. I actually wanted to visit the place and express my solidarity. But due to some problems, I could not go'

Rajnikanth refused to comment when asked which party would come to power in Tamilnadu after elections
