Close a month after being released on bail, cricketer Sreesanth reportedly attended his first public function yesterday, at the Janaseva Sisubhabavan, Aluva, on the outskirts of Kochi.
The home, run for destitute children was launching facilities for the inmates of the home to play cricket. Sreesanth was reportedly invited to be the chief guest at the event, hosted by Jose Maveli, founder of Janaseva Sisubhavan. Sreesanth said that he was a bit apprehensive about making a public appearance following the match fixing allegations but he feels overwhelmed by the support of the organisers and the audience!
