Two Kannada films ‘Double Decker’ said to be the remake of Hindi cinema ‘Sandwich’ remake and ‘Murali Meets Meera’ are contesting in the battle of box office tomorrow – 22nd April. The release of another film ‘Koffi Shop’ is in doldrums.
‘Double Decker’ starring 100 plus comedy hero sitting MLC, Vice President of KSRTC, Jaggesh is produced by Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Cine Productions. R Srinivasan, Smt Parimala Jaggesh and Farzana Khan are the producers. Jaggesh is caught between two wives in this film. A hilarious film for the family audience.
The film ‘DD’ shot in the beautiful locales of Karnataka stars Siya Gautham and Shradda Arya as heroines. Sudarshan, Avinash, Satyabhama, Tennis Krishna, Junith Gowda, Chidanand, Shobaraj are in the supporting roles.
Victory Vasu is just Vasu from this film direction. PKH Doss is the cameraman. Jaipal has scored the music.
‘Murali Meets Meera’ the second venture of director Mahesh Rao (earlier one was ‘Dheemaku’) for Saraswathi Entertainers Yogish Hunsur produced film is having many intriguing moments. It is a one day story of ‘Murali meeting Meera’. What happens after they meet and how they meet is interesting to watch says producer Yogish Hunsur.
Director Mahesh Rao has penned the story, screenplay for the film. Prajwal Devaraj, Reema Vora, Harshika Poonacha are in lead with Sadhu Kokila, Sharan, PN Sathya, Girish, Shankarayana are in the cast.
Jai Anand is the cameraman and Abhiman Roy has scored the music. Shanker Mahesh penned the dialogues.
