After Angadi Theru, director Vasantha Balan is planning grand for his next Aravan. A period film featuring Aadhi, Dhanshika and Pasupathy, Aravan is progressing at rapid pace.
Sources say the movie is set in during the 18th century.The crew has spotted a village called Arittapatti Hill near Madurai to shoot some important sequences. This place has many caves, streams and huge valleys.
Art director Vijay Murugan and his huge team erected a grand village including a Karuppan temple and hundreds of huts made of bamboo, straw, palm leaves and rocks in this area. Major scenes would be shot using maximum number of junior artistes.
